ABOUT 600 HWM

600 HIGHWAYMEN is theater artists Abigail Browde and Michael Silverstone. Since 2009, the duo’s original works have been seen at The Public Theater, The Invisible Dog, Abrons Arts Center, River to River (NYC); American Repertory Theater (Cambridge), AT&T Performing Arts Center (Dallas), Fringe Arts (Philadelphia), Fusebox Festival (Austin), International Festival of Arts & Ideas (New Haven), Kimmel Center (Philadelphia), Luminato Festival (Toronto), Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago), On The Boards (Seattle), Torn Space (Buffalo), Walker Arts Center (Minneapolis), Wexner Center for the Arts (Columbus), Woolly Mammoth (Washington, DC); as well as abroad at The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi (UAE), Centre Pompidou (France), Dublin Theatre Festival (Ireland), In BetweenTime (UK), MESS Festival (Sarajevo), Noorderzon (The Netherlands), Onassis Cultural Centre (Greece), OzAsia Festival (Australia), Parc de la Villette (France), Salzburg Festival (Austria), FITS/Sibiu Fest (Romania), Theaterformen (Germany), Zürcher Theater Spektakel (Switzerland). In addition to an Obie Award in 2014, Zurich’s ZKB Patronage Prize in 2015, and a nomination for Austria’s Nestroy Award in 2017, Browde and Silverstone were named artist fellows by the New York Foundation for the Arts in 2016. Abby and Michael live in Brooklyn, NY with a dog named Pablo.
